Softplay Rod Support

Position, support and elevate with the Softplay Rod Support - the partner accessory for the Softplay Rod. A soft-play foam support designed to hold the Softplay Rod at raised height, transforming the rod from a floor-level prop into proper raised obstacle infrastructure. With Rod Supports in place at either end, the Softplay Rod becomes a balance bar, jumping target, limbo pole, or any other elevated rod-based piece of equipment your sessions need.

Designed around supporting the Softplay Rod at functional heights, the support format opens up serious motor work. Place two Supports at either end of a Rod for a proper balance bar children can walk along; lower the rod for jumping-over practice; raise it for limbo or jumping-under work. The combination of Rod plus Supports creates infinitely flexible obstacle equipment - one of the most versatile additions to any soft-play motor programme.

The construction is institutional-grade soft-play foam with wipe-clean vinyl cover - tough for daily use, safe even when children fall against or onto the supports during energetic sessions. Note: this is the support only - the Softplay Rod is sold separately. You typically need two supports per rod (one at each end). Brilliant in paediatric physical therapy clinics, special education PE, sensory motor programmes and home sensory motor spaces. Adult supervision required during use.
