Welcome to Cosy Direct’s Sensory Stations collection, where our carefully selected stations take centre stage in SEND schools and nurseries. Sensory experiences are at the heart of learning, and our wonderful stations provide a fantastic way to encourage curiosity, creativity, and calm for children with special educational needs. From the gentle glow of colour and light tables to the hands-on excitement of sand and water play stations, there’s something to captivate every learner.
Sensory play is a brilliant way to support children with sensory processing difficulties, offering them a safe space to explore textures, sounds, and movement. Potion stations and mirror trays are perfect for encouraging investigative play. For some hands-on messy play, our tuff spot trays and sand tables create the ideal space for open-ended exploration. These activities help develop motor skills, social interaction, and early problem-solving; without children even realising they're developing key STEM/STEAM skills!
