Comfy Modular Sofa

A sofa. A car. A rocket. A bed. The Comfy Modular Sofa is a set of ten pieces of beautifully upholstered foam that children can combine, stack and rearrange into whatever their imagination demands.

Start with the sofa. It settles into a generous, low-slung seat with round bolster cushions and rectangular backrests that children sink happily into for reading, watching a story or simply relaxing. Then take it apart. Suddenly, the pieces become wheels, a nose cone and a body and the sofa is now a rocket or a car. Stack them differently, and there is a bed, an armchair or an entirely new construction that only exists in that child's mind.

The corduroy fabric is as tactile as it looks, with a satisfying ribbed texture that children love to run their hands over. Every cover is removable and washable at 30°C. The polyurethane foam beneath is soft, durable and built for years of reimagining. A remarkable piece of furniture for any early years setting or primary school reading and play area.
