Developing Number Sense - Maths Mastery Collection

Mastery has become a popular phrase in maths in recent years but supporting this approach appropriately in the early years may not always be clear. This collection of tactile resources has been created to help children develop strong mathematical foundations in an engaging and age-appropriate way.

Focusing on number and counting, the resources enable young learners to enjoy exploring number, making connections and engaging in deep mathematical thinking.

Each kit contains: 10-Frame Tray, 1,2,3,4,5 Frame Tray Set, 5-Frame Tray, Two-Tone Counting Stones, Tactile Counting Stones, Number Pebbles (Number Bonds to 10). A helpful 16-page booklet, with notes on maths mastery and activity ideas written by early years maths specialist Cath Gripton, is also included. Safe for children age 2+.
