The 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces in Retail, Hospitality & Leisure™ list has been launched by Great Place To Work® UK, recognising Cosy Direct among the list of organisations in the Retail, Hospitality & Leisure category.

Through anonymous feedback, Cosy Direct’s employees reported that Cosy’s commitment to building a workplace where people feel, valued, trusted and proud to contribute makes the company a great place to work.

Every employee was invited to complete a confidential survey about culture, leadership, and workplace experience. To qualify, they needed at least 65% positive feedback, and they far exceeded that with 79%.

What makes the Great Place to Work so special is that it is based entirely on employee feedback. The secret to building a great culture and environment where all can thrive is Cosy’s shared values and to be a force for good in both business and the community.

Great Place To Work® UK administered their research-backed Trust Index© employee survey and analysed the responses of UK-based retail, hospitality and leisure employees to determine the Best Workplaces in Retail, Hospitality & Leisure™ list. The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

Analysis of the sector employee survey responses found that 75% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces for Retail, Hospitality & Leisure™ say “I want to work here for a long time” compared to 56% at a typical company in this sector.
