We are Bronze Award holders and have pledged our intention to support Defence, and take a positive stance towards Reservists who are either existing or prospective employees.
We seek to promote an Armed Forces friendly position, and are open to employing Reservists and supporting their training and mobilisation commitments as best we can.
If you are a Reservist, a Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV), a Veteran, Service Leaver, Wounded, Injured, Sick or a military spouse or partner, we promise that you will never suffer a disadvantage because of this.
You will be supported by Cosy.
Our Reserve Forces and Special Leave Policies outline all the ways in which you will be supported by Cosy, from ten days’ leave to attend training to flexibility in working hours and days.
We offer an Employee Assist Programme which is totally independent and confidential which may be able to help with transitioning back into work and readjusting to civilian life and we have an Armed Forces Champion who is the dedicated first port of call for reservists, (and all Defence staff) with questions or queries.
