Traditional Tales Wooden Characters - 32 Piece Set

If your literacy area is lacking a bit of storybook sparkle, this bumper set of Traditional Tales Wooden Characters will soon change that. Each of the 32 characters has a chunky 15mm base—sturdy enough for standing in tuff trays, story scenes or small world adventures without toppling over mid-tale.

The set includes figures for six much-loved traditional stories: The Three Little Pigs, The Gingerbread Man, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and The Three Billy Goats Gruff. That’s a whole term’s worth of storytelling prompts in one go. And when the stories are done? Children can retell, remix, or reinvent them entirely—encouraging early years literacy, communication and language, and a healthy dose of creative chaos.

Ideal for EYFS story sacks, reading areas, fine motor activities, and language-rich play, these tactile figures help develop vocabulary, sequencing, comprehension, and narrative skills.

Safe from 18 months, so even your youngest storytellers can get involved.
