Large Shaggy Rug - Plain Green

If your reading corner is missing a little something, this Green Plain Shaggy Rug might be it. With its soft, dense pile and calming colour, it instantly turns cold floors into warm, inviting spaces that children want to sit, read, or play in. Whether you are creating a quiet area, a small group zone, or just want somewhere less ‘wipe clean’ and more ‘curl up’, this rug adds comfort without compromising on practicality.

The generous size makes it ideal for early years settings, Key Stage One classrooms or shared learning areas. Pop it under a wicker arch or in a quiet corner to give children a visual cue that says ‘this is a calm space’. It is tough too, with a stain-resistant finish and no shedding, so it can take a fair bit of footfall and still look the part.

Perfect for indoor enabling environments, it helps define areas and invites independent use. Add floor cushions or soft seating, and you have an instant spot for storytelling, turn taking or even a quick nap (once the children have gone home, obviously).
