Big Bugs and Birds Banner

Is it a crow or a blackbird? Get children guessing with our Big Bugs and Birds Banner! Our colourful banners have detailed illustrations of different minibeasts and birds, encouraging children to learn all about the nature around them. With 22 images on every banner, they are perfect for identification activities, nature walks and topic displays.

Each image is labelled with the name of a bird or minibeast, helping children to learn new terms and giving them guidance to spot each creature while in the nursery garden or on school trips. Pair it with our Wildlife Birds Set for a hands-on way to explore the feathered friends featured on the banner, or combine it with our Mini Beast Set to bring those creepy crawlies to life in small-world play!

They are perfect for group learning activities and sunny outdoor lessons, as well as encouraging games - such as who can spot a robin the fastest? Or who can name the differences between a butterfly and a ladybird?

Our banners are lightweight, meaning they can be easily hung up in the classroom or used to add inspiration to the playground and garden areas. It is the ideal resource for adding visual aesthetics to EYFS up to KS1 settings while sparking curiosity and encouraging children to understand the world around them.
